Here's an idea to help with providing different parameter values when running a CRT* command: Add to the parameter names to the %METADATA tags at the top of the source. For example, on the CRTCMD command, tags for parms like PGM, VLDCKR, HLPPNLGRP, etc. and then the value.

%PGM: MYPGM
%VLDCKR: VLDCKRPGM

This provides a way for SO to get the needed parameter values and also documents it within the command source for reference.

@worksofliam how about changing parameters from %TEXT, %PGM, etc., to @TEXT, @PGM, etc.? It would make them compatible with ILEDocs.
