Describe the feature or resource

We are in a multi-tenancy situation where we would greatly benefit from more fine-grained IAM permissions for the ComputeBackendService resource. It seems like this is supported in the Beta Compute API here.
Is it possible to get support for targeting a ComputeBackendService in an IAMPolicy before it becomes GA?

Importance

Not currently a blocker but would be nice if we could get support by the end of this quarter.

Hi @erikjoh , thank you for your request. Once the IAM resources are supported in the Terraform provider (issue #10233), then we will be able to support them in Config Connector (note that there will be a few weeks of delay after the Terraform support).

I noticed that you only provided the link to the IAM support for the global backend service. Just to double check - do you also need the IAM support for the regional backend service in your use case?

Thanks! 😄

Also yes, we only need support for global backend service.
