AVM has a solution for you: enable "stealth mode" and no more dropped packets! just nothing get an answer now ;-) So if you want to change it, disable the PA, se faq how - but lower masqueraded throughput |

The default rate limiting for ICMP ping is far too strict for many online checkers, resulting in a lot of dropped packets being reported
Is there any easy way to adjust this? I can see the settings in ar7.cfg but don't want to directly hack on the file if avoidable
A lot of testers throw 5 pings in one second. AVM only allow 1 ping per second. I understand about smurf and other attacks, but 10pps is a more reasonable compromise that would allow things like Thinkbroadband's BQM tester to report accurately
