This is what gag eyes look like on a small sized character:
It's a character that works fine when imported at normal size, but when changing proportions from the Koikatsu editor and then importing it, that's the result.
It looks like there's one protruding vertex in the middle of the eyes, and it appears only when enabling one of the gag eyes shapekeys in Object Mode, but if I switch to Edit Mode it disappears, so I can't figure out where it's coming from.
Disabling 'Fix body seams' when importing didn't help, and moving the 'Gag Eyes' object around doesn't affect the mysterious vertex.
There are a few more issues with alignments of bones/objects for small characters but they can be easily fixed by hand, this is the only problem I can't seem to find a solution to.
I'm using the latest version of KKBP and the importer, Blender 3.3 and standard Koikatsu (not Sunshine), and here's the resized character card:
I know it's a borderline case so I'm not really requesting a plugin fix, but rather a suggestion on how to go about fixing it myself.

I realized the vertices were being moved by the 'KK Eyes_gageye' shape key through a driver, so the solution is to modify the way it behaves, which is pretty easy:
Select the 'Body' object and its 'KK Eyes_gageye' shape key in Object Mode;
Switch to Edit Mode, so any changes now will affect that shape key;
With vertex selection enabled, select the protruding vertex in the middle of each eye;
Use 'Select more' 3 times, so you select the surrounding edge loops;
Use 'Smooth vertices' with a Repeat factor of 100.
Here's the difference between the initial situation (right eye) and the fixed situation (left eye), though I hid the faces that were in the way so it might not look as clear when doing it in Edit Mode, but it'll work:
Btw some smoothing may also benefit normal sized characters, since the protruding vertex is still there, even though it's less noticeable.
