Contributors ORCIDs not retained on GBIF

2 3 of the 8 contributors of the ESAS dataset have their ORCID recorded in IMIS:

• Eric Stienen
• Desmet Peter
• Nicolas Vanermen

That ORCID is not retained in the contributor information on GBIF: https://www.gbif.org/dataset/3470d506-e667-4e3f-b178-819669684c05#contacts The email is not retained either, but reverts to the email of the institute.

Would it be possible to retain ORCIDs on GBIF?

@rubenpp7 Maybe the ORCID of Nicolas can also be added to IMIS: https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0156-357X

Hi @peterdesmet , we have a fix now at the IMIS side, those changes will be pushed to the EurOBIS IPT (and therefore to GBIF) in the next EurOBIS data harvest cycle next month
