dev-stableX versions are not kept up to date? #16

Just a question for now. There e.g. dev-stable23 available which I would assume contains the API of the latest changes in server stable23.
However it seems once there is a release the stable branch is not being updated anymore.

hence e.g. in nextcloud/activity#741 I had to switch from dev-stable23 to ^v23.0.0 ?
Is that intended?
Also what are dev-stable23.0.0 and dev-stable23.0.2 for on https://packagist.org/packages/christophwurst/nextcloud

Also there there are branches stable23.0.0 and stable23.0.2 in this repo?
