As of Nov 1, 2020, travis-ci is no longer free to public repositories and around Jan 1, 2021, our travis ci "free minutes" ran out. You can see it here, https://travis-ci.com/organizations/CICE-Consortium/plan. So super frustrating!! We operate under the idea that public repos can use travis for free, take the time to set things up, and then things change, https://blog.travis-ci.com/2020-11-02-travis-ci-new-billing. I have requested that some credits be added to our account. Lets see how they respond. I have proposed they give us enough credits to last a year. Lets see what happens. At the same time, I'll look into github actions. It seems other travis-ci users are in the same boat, keptn/keptn#2715.

GH Actions has been implemented in both Icepack and CICE for macos systems.
It would be good to get that working for linux (ubuntu) as well. There is an issue with the csh script with ubuntu so we need to investigate using bash. See CICE-Consortium/Icepack#347 for some additional discussion on this issue.
Will close this issue but open a new issue for GH Actions with ubuntu.
