This work should include:

A Google Bench memory benchmark for ClientIVC (ideally multiple variants) and UH
Automated tracking in CI to prevent regressions (ideally integrated into the existing suite)
Bonus: mechanism for investigating memory on the level of methods/algorithms, similar to what we have for computation time

Question: do we expect this to function for both x86 and wasm?
