All the RER bible has been read through, along with the descriptions page of this mod and other mods in their entirety and related comments on Nexus. I also spent quite a lot of time trying them out myself before asking this question. (It is not a lazy question! V^V )
I only test RER in Toussaint. Every time it happened, there would be trails regarding the hunt event.
Question 1 Monsters keep showing up.
The time-related parameters are stretched to avoid RER triggering too often, however it doesn’t work.
For example, the minimum delay time in day and night is 1800s and 1200s respectively, and both the maximum delayed times are 6000s.
The frequency of encounter during day and night is 5% and 15%, and both are 3% in hunt.
The interval time in the event system is 20s and the slider “Seconds before an event can trigger again” is 300s.
The possibly related mods are Monsters Come Out At Night - No Random Encounters During The Day, Stronger Monster Status Effects and ESGOESGO - Enemy Scaling and Gameplay Overhaul.
Question 2 The keyboard keybinds don’t work.
Nothing happens when using keybinds to “Trigger an encounter” or “Analyse surrounding ecosystem”, no conflicts in the keybinds.
Question 3 What is the exact function of “Hide RER notifications”?
There is no notification no matter whether this option is on or off, except for using the keybinds to “reload setting” and “enable/disable mod”.
Question 4 Mod AutoLoot Advanced Settings - Next Gen doesn’t work concerning the body created by RER.
Question 5 Geralt keeps comment on the trail even the option concerning comment is off. The language is simplified Chinese.
Question 6 Is it possible to add an optional function that the creatures would flee when its health is low or a certain portion of its teammates are dead?
This feature is partially realized in the mod Unreasonable Plot Redesigned in the quest “Reason of State”. Here is the content from the description page:
Dijkstra suddenly lost his minds and decide to kill Roche when Geralt is there...Now Dijkstra will flee when his health is below 10% or his thugs have been killed more than 10. Which makes sense, when the plan doesn't work as intended, he's clever enough to retreat.
I know this feature is difficult to realize in RER... But imagine the day it was accomplished! It really breaks immersion when Geralt easily kills five ghouls and the remaining one is too intelligent and brave to retreat. So how could it survive in the cruel Witcher world? Besides, it goes so well with RER!
Finally, thx for your great mod. It is the number one mod for me which enhances the realism and immersion of the game while merge-free.
